I found this post here. I found it very thought provoking. Sometimes I wonder if i can ever write like these people do, even though we are around the same age. This feeling of helplessness at finding the right word in the mass variety of words in the dictionary. Some people just have it. I think I lost it in my two years. I seriously have to buck up I think. Anyways...enjoy the post below.

After reading Arts and Inspiration, my utterly confused mind becomes... well, more confused.

I'm sorry, I cannot define Art, and I doubt I ever will. Everytime we go for some Art-related things (be it sabbaticals, lessons or exhibitions), Art teachers will always ask us "What is Art? (Flashes Picture of something) Is this Art?" And then everyone will stare and mumble, but no-one offers to answer. And then, the teacher decides to torture us by not telling us what she thinks, and instead, ask others what they think, and questions what they think.

Oh well, so what is Art? Art is... ... I don't know. I guess it means a million things, and is not confined to any catergories. Which means, everything is an Art!

But why? Who created Art? Who introduced this term "Art"? Why do we have Art? Why can some people define Art but others can't? Who decides what is Art? Why do we need to have Art? How did Art come about? Who what where when why how... ... You can ask all you want, and NOBODY will give you an answer. You just have to search it yourself.

Well, it's not just about Art. We have many to ask. Like, for the most basic, why are we here on this Earth?

People who take Biology will give a long and tedious answer with many names that are too long to remember, explaining the cells duplicating and stuff. People who believe in religion will give even longer answers, and even debate among themselves. And for me, I am still stuck with a few questions:

Are we here to enjoy life? If we were here to enjoy life, why do we have illnesses? Why do we have horrible people who bomb places without thining about their consequence? Why do we feel sad? Why do we cry? Why do we have deaths? Why do we have seperation? Why do we feel pain?

Are we here to pay for our sins? If we were here to suffer, what's the point of being here? Aren't we all better off dead? I fwe were to suffer, why do we feel love? Why can we smile? Why do we feel warmth? Why do we feel comfort? Why will we have a hand to wipe of our tears? Why do we have sunny days? Why do we have all the beautiful things around us?

Or we are here to make contributions? Then why are some people born disabled? Why do we all have flaws? If everyone contributes, who will be the final reciever? Why can't we all be perfect?

Perhaps we are here to make ourselves a better and stronger person. And after that? What do we do? Just feel stronger? Bwing strong means that you will be able to solve more problems. And afeter solving the problems, we become stronger. And then, we meet more problemes. So what's the point of being stronger/ We will just meet bigger setbacks in life. And after making ourselves better, where do we go? If everyone becomes strong, what will happen?

I hope I am not confusing anyone. But seriously, WHY??????
