don't cry, LOL!!! @ 5:31 pm
Even though Mother's Day is over, this video is HILARIOUS! But touching tooo.
Just now was the first day of Best Practise Day. THere was nothing BEST about it because the Uniform Groups were still very INCLUSIVE. The main aim of this day was to do away with the belief that each CCA is very Exlusive. So what is the point of that?
I had the duty of Netball scorekeeping for Sec 1s. I think they are very cute. And some non-Netballers play better than our Netballers. Never mind, they will get better in time. I want to put Nabilah in Netball. She has shown interest and plays quite well. Shall ask the teachers.
My stomach is soooo EMPTY. Shall go get something.
BIG NEWS: My brother is on the front cover of IN! haha. He has not seen it yet. But my parents have. They were so delighted! And I the ever so proud sister, showed it to all my friends. Will post it up later. HAHA.
And...Me going to China not so long away./...EEEE CANT WAIT!!!
After recess, while we were supposed to be discussing about out CI projects but my group drifted of on account of not having enough material.
SO I went to join the Guides GAng. Me, Angela n Jing Ting n crapped alot. Then this happened:
Angela: You know what Safiah, just now we were discu..dusgusting. OOPS. I mean we were disgusting. ((the three burst out laughing)) Safiah: WOW! THAT was funny. hhhaaa. Both sound alike though. I never thought of that before. Angela: ( SAVE FACE ) Let's think of words that sound like discussing. Safiah: Hmm....disguising...! Ehh. Can create sentence! She was discussing about disguising disgusting things! Jing Ting and Angela: whooo! ((marvels at this revelation and proceeds to pronounce the sentence repeatedly. Then they ask Bi Ru to say it too.)) Angela: I thought of another word! She was digressing by discussing about disgusting things! hahah WE THREE!: (laugh, laugh, laugh) -Enter Syafiqah n we proceed to do the same thing to her as we did to Bi Ru.
-haha. eh i dun wanna do duty tomorrow leh!!!

If you let me have my way, Nur, with regard to how your dreams will come true, I'll let you have your way, with a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y everything else.
Most fondly, The Universe P.S And in the meantime, Nur, in case you're curious, there's little else you could do to maximize my efforts the most, than moving in the direction of your dreams, however small your steps.
Sometimes I wish I could just transport myself somewhere exotic, peaceful and magical. Like that Sookee Jewellery, the Star diamond advertisement. It was a long stretch of road. The trees were triangular and a black silhoutte against the starry, purple sky. When I looked at that ad, my senses just tingled. And I had the longing of going there soooo mucho.
Hypothetically, Nur, if you were to begin asking the world - best friends, complete strangers, or natural born psychics - why some things haven't worked out the way you wanted, how other things got so crazy, or what might be wrong with you (oh, please, no), they'd have answers. Oh, yeah.
Of course, at first they'd be taken aback, but they'd hide this so as not to hurt your feelings, quickly accept the authority you surrendered and talk their little heads off with reasons, rationale, and insight. Glad to be recognized and sincerely happy to be of service. And you'd both be further convinced that you have "issues."
So, let's not ever invent such opportunities.
Always beside you, The Universe
P.S. You could always ask them about the square root of pi, or something, Nur.
If you could spend 24 hours with a celebrity:
Who would s/he be?
Where would you expect him/her to bring you?
Where would you bring him/her to?
What would you like to do with him/her?
What’s the one thing you’d been always wanting to ask the celebrity?
If s/he didn’t treat you well, would s/he be your favorite celebrity?
What would you give to him/her as a gift before saying goodbye so s/he’d remember you?
1. WOW, I can just DREAM about this man. I have two celebrities I REALLY REALLY want to go out with and the first one is obvious- TAUFIK BATISAH! and the other one is OPRAH. I want to spend time with Oprah. Yupp
2. I expect him to bring me to his studio to watch him record his songs, then we will go and eat somewhere that I don't know of. Then he will teach me how to play the guitar. The list is endless really.
With Oprah, it's all personal and business at the same time. She would take me to her workplace. And I'll ask her this bugging question: HOW DID YOU BECOME SO SUCCESSFULL! She is so rich that she can make a difference in this world. She can touch lives by helping to rebuild them. She is a WONDERWOMAN. A very inspiring woman. I want to be like her but it is once again, just a dream.
3. I would bring Taufik to one of those Netball matches...haha. And to SPH I dunnoe really. Anywhere my heart feels like. Oprah will be taken to the Esplanade.hahah. Dunno why. And SMU also. haha. Let her see the campus and see if she thinks it's surreal too.
4. I think this part is stated above already.
5. Oprah: How did you get so successfull? What did you do? Taufik: How far do you want to make it in the music industry? How are you going to make that happen? And I'll tell them that they have really, truly touched a part of me and changed my lives, in a way.
6. I believe they will treat me well because they are nice people. But if not, they will still be my favourite celebrity, just not my favourite persons.
7. What do you give Oprah who has everything??? I will give her a pillow with my face on it. haha. so corny. and decorated with lace and pearl beads and ribbons. I'll give taufik umm a teddy bear with a dog tag on it that has my name and his name and the date we went out. and must have my face on it's t-shirt. hahah. so funny.
The most visible creators are those artists whose medium is life itself. The ones who express the inexpressible - without brush, hammer, clay, or guitar. They neither paint nor sculpt. Their medium is simply being. Whatever their presence touches has increased life. They see, but don't have to draw... Because they are the artists of being alive.

FLIP-FLOP!conk!clonkdakcroak *boing-boing!*
Its been Post-Exams Day and I've been BUSY BUSY BUSY. I can't keep track of anything. SO I will rewind and talk about what I've been doing according to my LOVELY Cedar Handbook which according to Syafiqah is "VERY NICE TO READ". YAYS!
May 10, Wednesday- Polling Holiday. Stay at home and rest I think.
May 11, Thursday- Lifeskills Programme. I learnt how to solve this maze kinda problem. And we played Entangle with the Harry 3S Family. WHEE! I found that the only thing I could solve was when the solution to the problem was that you had to go under people's hands. The part about crossing people's hands I can't solve.
May 12, Friday, VESAK DAY- Had a 2/O Outing. The initial plan was to meet at 12.00 because we knew some people would be late so we gave them time until 12.30. When I was on the way to Tampines Interchange, I had a feeling that Atiqah haven't wake up yet so I called her house. Her sister answered and giggled when I asked for Atiqah because she was still ASLEEP! I asked her sister to wake her up and poor Atiqah did not get a 'GOOD MORNING!' to start off her morning.
Met Adelaida at Orchard MRT. Then went to Raffles Place and walked about...found out that they had no more MacDonalds in there. All in all we had to wait TWO WHOLE HOURS just for Atiqah to reach. While waiting, we checked on everyone's status. Jannah: We knew she would be late because of a DREAMSnTEAMS meeting that she had to attend at Maziah's house.HUSNA: Out of house but not coming. We later found out that she went out with her family. AMIRA: Her mother didn't let her go so she asked me to persuade her mother which freaked me out a bit. I mean "WHAT!!" Then Amira said that her mother knows that I'm her good friend so probably she will let her go. So I gathered up my courage and talked to her Mother. I told her that it was a 2/O reunion and we rarely meet. And that today was the only day that all of us are free. So her mother asked what time it will end. And I said before Maghrib. So Amira had to come home before Maghrib. So she was on her way.
But when Atiqah came already, me and Adel were so hungry we didn't wanna wait for anyone no more. So we went to Cineleisure Burger King to eat and told Amira and Jannah to meet us there. Then we decided not to watch a movie...because we coudn't agree, there was no time and the only movie there was was MI3, Aquamarine which some of us hate and some of us LOVE but all of them ADel had at home in her "Private" Collection.
So we went to THE HEEREN to shop around..OOPS I mean look around because of course we have no money. Then we took a NICE NICE set of Neoprints but it was botak w/o the presence of HUSNA, SYAFIQAH and MARLIYANA.
Then we went to Masjid Al-Falah to solat Zuhur where Adel was so sure of the fact that two guys were so smitten over her that they were willing to wait for her until after we took our Wudhu'. But sadly, or happily, they weren't there when we finished solat-ing. I was not surprised anyhow because we spent AGES taking our own sweet time putting eyeliner and eye shadow on our eyes, courtesy of Amira(eyeliner) and Safiah(eyeshadow) and with the services of Amira and Jannah. Thank you guys. hahaha. we were looking like WHAT only.
Then we went to Esplanade to eat Chocolate Fondue made by the bald man which doesn't sound so appealing to me. And Adel said: Well...the people all look quite hairy to me. (She means the waiter and waitresses.) And we were laughing and making as much noise as it was allowed in the quiet ambience of the cafe. Jannah the ever RICH girl, blanja-ed us all. There was bread, strawberry and banana to be dipped in milk chocolate, dark chocolate or white chocolate. The chocolate dips were kept melted by the candle under it. The whole thing looked like an aromatherapy burner. I was kinda shocked. But it tasted DELICIOUS. I'm gonna try buying that thing. And making my own choc fondue. Then we had croissants w/ hazelnut spread.
After that, we went to the outside where the sky was downcast. We took a lot of pictures which Jannah STILL has not given me yet. They were NICE pictures.
Then, Jannah left and me, Amira, Atiqah and Adelaida went to Amira's house to kejar Asar tapi tak sempat. The good thing was that Amira got home just before Maghrib. So it was in time. Now her mom can trust ME! Then her mother made the MOST DELICIOUS PIZZA!!! umm sedap. Then we went to cuci our plates because it was all oily then Amira as the ever good housewife-material girl says "Tak payalah korang tak payah cuci." Then Adelaida says" Alah, you only say like that but deep inside you heart ah, you just WANT us to cuci for you right" Oh geez she ah...sooo WAT lah. All of us were doubled up in laughters. She's been at it ALLL DAY! Praising herself everytime, being so perasan. But she is the ONLY PERSON in the WORLD who can manage to make me so SICK of her but still so HAppy and Amused and Love her at the same time. Really, she praises herself every minute ,that girl. What to do, she's SSOO self-assured.
Then go home TIME.....we must do this another daY!!
May 17, Wednesday: Poetry and Drama- The Lit Play by 3c, 3z and 3i. All was nice. And the poem thing by the sec 2 ELDDS ppl. NICE TOO. I stole a balloon and got a sweet. They gave a lot of stuff considering it was an intepretation of a poem. Too bad the raisins were dirty on account of them hitting the floor.
Also, class phototaking. Went with the Harry 3S group again.
After school, I had Media Club session. It was our attachment time with the seniors. I had to collect cca t-shirt money. T- shirt quite nice but I ordered size 'L'! a BIG mistake, pun intended. Then I had to count the money and ALMOST forgot my Netball phototaking. So I rushed down, changed and DIDN't even CHECK my hair. And took photo. Then I RUSHED back to the computer labs again to settle everything.
May 18, Thursday,-Thinkathon. I commented about the pillars and the choosing of CCAs. There was a keyboard performance by the Sec 2 classes. Most performed the MICKEY MOUSE MARCH. Some had Greenday, S.H.E., Jay Chou. Refreshing definitely. Then had A Maths where I was so happy that I got a lot of questions correct.
Then had Media Club Phototaking where I had to sit in front for the FIRST TIME in my life on account of always being one of the tallest and always having to stand at the last row. I had the privelege because I was part of the new EXCO which is Executive Commitee. Nice lah.
May 19, Friday- CROSS COUNTRY. Where I set my mind out to run but didnt' because Muu kept wanting to walk. Nevermind Next year I shall RUNN with all my might and not dissapoint all my Netballers like how our seniors kinda dissapointed us and how we dissapointed our juniors. Me proud of Amira once again for getting 49th placing whereas I did not get a placing which meant we were 100++ placing. Fadilah was sick halfway. Adelaida got Second placing WHEEHEE. Positive light though, I ran faster than Yasmin, Suni and Sarah. At least.
Then went to Plaza Singapura to eat with Simphoni, Jannah, Adelaida, Syafiqah and Wee Kie. We had to go to Singapore Management University where we had to attend the launching of the Youth Entrepeneur Skills Competition(YESCOM). First ordered BK and ate at KFC. Jannah was talking talking to Adelaida alone. Not talking to me. Oh I heard but she was not conversing with me though. So I went to Syafiqah who I can always crap with. Then we went jalan-jalan around PS and bumped into Mrs Choo and Mrs Woo. Mrs Choo came to me like so unsure liek that to meet me or not. Then Mrs Woo shooed her to me. Then she ask "Safiah, you know right if I come to you I will ask you one" And I said "Yah". Then she ask me"So what is it?" And I Say"I dunno?" "When is the class free for practical?" So I say "Wednesday or Thursday but not confirmed." "Ok. You confirm then monday tell me okay"
So much for being the Physics Rep. Wahh never get rest ah!
Then walked to SMU where the new campus is. WAHHHHH. The venue is like the Matrix! Utopia! It was so peaceful and empty. And shops everywhere. Shops like, get this: Biotherm, Maybelline, Kopitiam, 7-11, clinics and banks. You can literally live there without going out into the real world. And you can imagine ppl in black suits doing the stunts like the Matrix in the campus. It was that UNREAL.
Syafiqah saw her uncle who didnt recognise her and she refused to say HI to him. WE heard a lot of people who slanged. Who smiled a lot cos they won last year, who repeatd that person's victory, who talked and never stopped, who had a nice Indian accent and who wore a coat.
After that had refreshments. Syafiqah's uncle catered it cos he was the one who new which one the orange juice was n which one the hot tea was. They were in opaque tumblers with no labels. The epok-epok and orange juice I must say was good!
Then Jannah waithed there for her dad as usual and the rest of us took MRT home. Then Simphoni, me and Adel met Sandra and tried to talk her into buying the story that we came from SMU because we got a scholarship there. But she didn't believe us.
Today was tiring. I got ppl chatting with MSN with me....so long oredi never talk at MSN. Mark and Mervyn are having a go at each other's throats. Sade is wishing to g oout as usual. And I'm enjoying them.haha
ok sighning out now. this has been a long post. congrats to you if you survived.

ickshushPLINK PLONK *ooooh-laaaa*
Love that. Okay...as quoted by Jannah:" May rocks! Lots of wonder-di-dum-ful things happen in May!" RIGHT. Just because her birthday falls in May she has a right to say that. But when I think of it again, there is a logic behind that:
a) Post Exams are in May. b) Reunion w/ my DARLING 2/O buds are in May. c) My brother's birthday is in May. d) I feel happier in May e) There's no stress in May f) I will take off to China, Beijing where I'll get to see the GREAT WALL in May. g) June comes after May.
Hahaz...
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: I love Heath Ledger and Hugh Jackman. As if some of you din't know! hahax.
Movies I can't wait to see this month or in the coming two months: 1. X MEN 3 ( OOOOOH! Hugh Jackman. Did you know that he gained those extra muscles by doing bench and leg presses! Totally mind over matter!) 2. The Da Vinci Code ( I just found out that it was NC-16. But Krystal says I can pass it no problem.) 3. She's The Man (Whee Amanda Bynes!)
I just bought FiRST magazine for the very first time because it had Hugh Jaackman as Wolverine on it and this cool guy with wings named Angel. How subtle. Anyways, I was searching for the cover with Angel, Wolverine and Beast ( THE BEASTIES ) in it because there are 3 covers for May's issue ( BEASTIES, BEAUTIES ANT THE BADDIES ) and I couldn't find it. Then I heard "Girl, you looking for this is it?" And I turned and I saw the cover I was looking for...I was so happy. She made my day. Now THIS is what Singaporeans need to learn. GOOD SERVICE. She went on to say "This wan ah, so popular, EVERYONE want" Then I smiled at her and went on my way to SPH to give Daniel my cheque.
Who did I meet on the way in to SPH at Braddell? Elsie and Yanling. And I salam-ed Yanling and it was not intentional. I was thinking "WHAT WAS I DOING?"Then I explained to her and she said "Nevermind" all smiles. Pheew...Really Safiah...you couldn't even control your brain. I didn't even remember reaching out my hand. Weirded out.
So they saw me in my home clothes and I explained that I had no school today. Because last Saturday, it was public holiday due to Polling Day but my school didn't get to experience it so they had it today. On wednesday. The shortest day of the whole school week. Haiz.
Then on the way out saw Krystal and Sarah so I went back up to the office. Shouldn't have. Wasted time. I mean we weren't REALLY doing anything so...I was just sitting one corner reading my book "HOW TO DEAL" by .....
Then I went and got myself my first NEW YORK PIZZA...No.1. It had only cheese and tomato sauce on it and I realised that AFTER I ordered. The service I tell you....So unorganised. I was so turned off. Apparently, I was not the only one. A couple changed their minds about ordering and left. I thought the pizza was going to taste bad but ooh la la when I had my first mouthful...DUDE IT WAS GOOD! haha. Just for rhyming sakes. THis will definitely NOT be my last visit there I don't care how unorganised they are. Or even id the cashier was an old ang moh with an accent who i suspect came from New York. Hey...have you seen ang mohs work at that kind of place, IN SINGAPORE? With all due respect but they always work in those higher ranks. With ties and coats. In New York maybe but honey, NOT in Singapore.
Which reminds me. Our class has been watching movies. We are on to our third one now. And we are expected to write movie reviews after that. I think by now, some of the class has forgotten about the first movie that they watched. But NoT me. I still remember all od them
1. 10 Things I hate about you. 2. 50 First Dates 3. Coach Carter
I was so enthusiastic about watching Coach Carter because I experienced Atiqah's squealing everytime. She just loves Coach Carter as far as I can remember. The first two ones are Romantic Comedies while the 3rd one is an inspiring sport movie. Both...I LOIKE! tee hees.
And the Coach Carter one inspired me and GC to use the words: homies, son, daughter, sister, dog as in DAAWWG, and etcetra....etcetra.
Can't wait to continue watching Coach Carter tomorrow. Whee...
And Friday is Vesak Day! 2/O Reunion Day! and HAPPY VESAK DAY TO ALL BUDDHISTS!
While you might, from time to time, envy others, Nur, it's precisely during those moments when you might ask yourself whether or not you'd actually like to be them.
Envy cured. Huh?
The Universe Personally, Nur, I think you and I have it made.

what am i doing??? @ 6:25 pm
My cousin, Muhammad Faris Hezan Bin J was in the hospital recently due to unidentified sickness. He was reported shivering while in the crib. My auntie was seen worried sick and my uncle, at a loss of what to do. Thus, my uncle's family who are much more experienced with handling babies for example his mother who is my grandmother and my mother and my other auntie has lended their helping hand. I pray to Allah that the baby will get healthy and strong. Insyaallah. Amin
For you, Nur, it's never really been all about the cottage at the beach, a multimillion dollar bank account and the adoration of fans, has it?
Ok, a teeny, tiny bit.
Instead, it's been about having a life that allows for the expression of your creativity and exchanging your rare and special gifts with the world. To be yourself, no matter the cost, laughing often, and knowing to your core the meaning of love, friendship and sleeping in.
Just wanted you to know that I know this about you. And that I think it's just great how you're imagining the latter when you visualize these days...
Pretty much got you pegged, huh? The Universe
Haiz. I cant help thinking that in all this troubled ordeals, I have grown up. I realised that people won't wait for you. They wont see how you have aged from within.
So you have got to show them. But that does not mean that you take up all responsibilities until you cannot handle everything.
When you are hungry you eat. Similarly, when you are in trouble seek out for help. Don't try to be the superhero that you think you are. You are not. We are just mere humans.
Still, is it worth getting trust and responsibility and experience without the recognition? Is it worth it sacrificing your time, brain and heart for nothing but experience? Is it fair that others may pile you up with all the work but the only time when you will benefit from it is when you do start working? Is it justifiable that you have the same name but you give in more? You care more?
Why do I care so much? Again and again I ask this question. Why must you have the initiative when others let the boss do all the job. I think these people are smart. If you dont get the money for it, then why do it? Still...isn't it better to do the best that you can?
So what is it? Work only when you get incentive OR Work the best that you can. Everytime. Even when you have too many things to do that you can't cope.
My friends, if you were me, what in the world would you choose? Because I am truly confused.
I dont know.... I do not envy.

Long Weekend @ 8:34 pm
NEWS FLASH * WEATHER ADVISORY This week's forecast will be marked with buoyant optimism scattered throughout the land (especially over Singapore) with intermittent bursts of hope, faith and euphoria that are expected to create numerous high pressure cells ideal for dreams coming true. So get on out there, Nur, and soak up those manifesting rays; it's going to be gorgeous.
I wish there were more weekends like this. Tuesday is a dreaded day. Looking forward to wednesday because I can either go home early or go out with filzah, syikin and muu to pizza hut. Im looking forward to friday because I can either go home early or go CIP at Cedar Primary because there will be no training because of the setting up of the election booths at our school.
Did a Johari Window for CE that day. Please fill this in too. Interactive Johari Window. Filzah said that I was emo and slenger...as usual. I said that she was slenger too.
We are now watching a lot of movies. Malay period got movie. English period also got movie. 10 reasons to hate about you or something or other. We have to write a movie review on it.
I added this slide thing which I saw on Amira's blog. Thanks dear. I have credited you okay!!!
Haiz...I think I will not pass E maths again unless I suddenly have a growth of brain mass in the E maths department.
My dad says that he is going to argue for my handphone next time. I am hoping he will get it asap. I wanna trade it it for this Sony Erricson phone that my cousin, Maisurah has..haiz...I need an mp3 or a portable radio or something like that....
Surprising fact: After Friday's gruelling training, I did not get muscle aches. Surprising fact 2: Cross-country is this month and we have not started training for it. Surprising fact 3: In 29 more days, I will be in Beijing, China. The Countdown Starts...
You know how the wind, no matter how blustery, remains as silent as it is invisible, until it meets with leaves, and kites, and flags, and such?
Well, Nur, it’s exactly the same with the manifesting forces that make dreams come true, until they meet with expectation.
And right this second, they're whirling all around you, my little chiquita.
Happy Monday - The Universe
The only difference between a friend and a foe, is that you've decided where love can grow.
