Of course they matter. haha...

and lately, my penchant forJalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, known to the English world simply as Rumi, the 13th century Turkish poet.I borrowed a book of his poems from the school library on Wednesday and the librarian thought I had to study it for Lit. HUH?! haha.. then I said it's just for light reading. Yeah. ahahh

You suppose you are the trouble
But you are the cure
You suppose that you are the lock on the door
But you are the key that opens it
It's too bad that you want to be someone else
You don't see your own face, your own beauty
Yet, no face is more beautiful than yours.

In truth everything and everyone
Is a shadow of the Beloved,
And our seeking is His seeking

'O Beloved, where is the Beloved?'

Because we do not know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well and yet everything happens only a certain number of times - and a very small number really. How many times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your life that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more? Perhaps not even that. How many times will you watch the full moon rise, perhaps twenty, and yet it all seems so limitless…"
