i'm tired.
i'm sleepy.
i feel sick.

Pamela just called and said that the Ex-INCrowders are invited to join the annual end of year trip and this time it's to KL. It costs S$400. I just want to go for the company. I've seen KL in and out. THE STAR would most probably be like the ones that we saw in Bangkok and Beijing. Nya... I want to gooo but we're not subsidised anymore. I'm working but I'm not getting paid. I want to get a laptop. I shouldn't go. But I want to go. But Liyana's not going anyway. AH I shouldn't go. I've been to KL millions to times. So. What else is there to see is there? The schools? I know what they're like.

I want to ask for early leave. I want to sleep...but I gotta cut these name placards. Well then, I guess it's good that I'm just doing manual labour, which doesn't require the use of my brains...

ok so what good and nice and happy things happened today?

1.My mentors brought me to Botanical Gardens' foodcourt to eat. One of them lent me her Civil Service card so I got 10% discount of food.

2. Someone complimented my dress. Love it. The last time someone complimented my top was my Lit teacher, John, in Cambridge, UK. WAHAH. Never had a man say that my top was unique and nice. HAHA... must be the English people. Or must be my horrible dressing sense? No actually I think I dress well enough. haahahaha.. howells, it is nice to be complimented. It is nice to give out compliments. I don't think I'd shy away from complimenting my friends or sometimes, close teachers but an acquaintance... I don't usually do that. HAHA. And I don't compliment people so that people can compliment me.

Oh it's 6pm already. I can leave now. But I think I'll finish up this post. NYAHAS.

3. I was introduced to the Deputy Director. She's niiice. They're all very caring here and very nurturing.

HAHA.

One of my mentors, Jenny just asked me if I've considered a degree in Teaching and I said, " Well it came across my mind." and she replied, "Don't think!"

"What do you mean? You mean, just do it?"
"Yes, but for your age, hrmm.. ok la think la"

Seriously though, there is a shortage of Teachers out there. I remember in Secondary school, Sec 2 especially, our class kept having relief teachers it was so frustrating.

Still, the teaching career has become much more dynamic now. There's a lot of opportunities to grow. (: But a large part of my family are teachers. And 2 are becoming lawyers and one wants to go into the medicine after NS.

Gosh gosh, so many options... what to do what to do?

And erm, one of the Specialists thought I was a teacher, and Jenny thought I was J2. WOOAHH. Actually, am used to it. HEE HEE.

BUT cos we are very spontaneous and kind, we let this type of subtle paparazzi get away with it. YUPP.... get a taste of originality man.

n i am officially disassociating myself with those who constantly let me down. once is enough but dragging me down emotionally, constantly, is just tiring. and it does not do good for me so let me say bye bye to the old pasts, D for dissapointments and S for saddening moments.

when i give up on you is when i disassociate myself. when things have become stuck and i don't care anymore, and i don't make an effort is when it happens....

see i don't even bother to press shift to capitalize the i's.

i can't let myself care anymore. i'm tired.

i'll rmb these times...hahaa.....ooh la la....best overseas trip! but it was soo short. but the mix of personalities....we were so different but somehow...we got along well together and all...i miss IT... oh HAHA...mervyn looks like the DAD. and Pam looks like the MUM. and we are all one big happy family....

and because IN CROWD 07-08 has it's own theme song made especially for us....

OH GOSH IN CROWD!!!!! love the pplwho stayed through the course of it all. what happened to the rest? didn't even have a chance to know them....howells, their loss.

and cos we whip up the most fantabulous stuffs.

yeah and i was cleaning up my room...and saw the TPJ magazine...and one of the graduated seniors said "The depth of your friendships is not measured by the length of your acquaintance". If I look back. I think it's true. If I look now, I think it's true. Look how many friendships I've made just in the space of 2 plus months, and for some, 4 days? And look at how many I still hold on to. And look at those whom I've known for half my life and where are they now? I can't blame some because even in Singapore, distance plays a part. I guess, like in Om Shanti Om (which I watched ytday with the family and which ROCKS! hahaha..) "if you want something with all of your heart, the whole universe conspires so you can get it" ...in other words..FATE? DESTINY? CHANCE? OPPORTUNITY? coincidence not being coincidences at all? Hmmm....

Initiation for IN CROWD 08 @ 2:30 pm

Friday was a short day. No scratch that. It was a wonderfully LOOOONG day.

Told Pamela that I'd meet her at TPJC so we can go SPH together. Turns out Samantha wants to go to TPJC too to meet her friend, Angela. So we went back together. Then Pamela told me that her mum would be picking us up so YAY!

I know Khai and Husna wanted to go back too but I can't stay and hang out with them cos of the IN thing. I miss Syazwan. He says that I can meet him whenever I want and he will sing WHATEVER song I want him to sing! YAYezz! haha. I still remember being such a buggerboo and asking him to sing all the random songs from that movie that we watched in MLEP, Cinta, but he was a malu-malu cat that time so he was like "WHAT THE SAFIAH?" hee...TPJC MLEP rocks lah ok.

I met Liyana, Athifah and AMIRA! YAY! I always see Liyana around. Haha...and she always has this confused face when she sees me. HELLO GIRL WAKE UP! haha

Then Ms Angela Quek saw me and asked me WHY I'm not in KI. I told her I'm in MJC now (as I was so obviously wearing a different colour uniform then the rest of the KI girls). She asked me why I'm not taking KI there. WOW she KNOWS? hahahha. I just told her I din't like MJ KI. yah i still miss KI. :( ok. Pam takes KI and I was sitting with Kailing and she takes KI too. So yah the KI peeps rocks!

As I was crossing the overhead bridge I saw the hockey girls and SHOUTED to Syahidah and Hamaizah. Then I RAAAAN to them and hugged them. Now in their TPJC uni, they look so different. Haha...Syahidah looks TALLER i swear.

I bought Apple Lattice cos I was so hungry and stole a sip from Sammy's Ice Lemon Tea. LOVE cafe's ILT.

Then Pam's mummy came. We went to Branding and showed off our new uniforms. Haha..everyone says we look so different. A lot of them thought I was from CJC. ARGGH. Erma arrived and we went to the toilet and I suggested to....

hee... SWITCH UNIFORMS. but but but...Pam so unsporting LARH...she dun want to change skirt with me so I had the TPJ top with MJ bottom and Erma has my MJ top with her North Vista sec bottom and Pam has Erma's jersey with TPJ skirt. Erma had a feel of what it'd be like to wear MJ uniform and she keeps calling it "her future uniform". HAHA. But the colour difference with MJ and TPJ is not really obvious, as you can see.

Then the rest of the gang came and Pam and Erma did all the Amazing Race preparation. I wrote the new members' names on their lanyards.

In desperation, I grabbed Mervyn's SA tie because I miss my Cedar tie. I've been wearing a tie to school since forever and now...no tie! Not bad huh...doesn't look bad at all.

I'm so sorry guys! My stomach unfortunately...comes first. Haiz...summore haven't eaten lunch. Thanks to Liyana and Joe En for sticking and appearing LATE with me, even though Peter saw us earlier. I know he always thinks I'm the LATE one. Haiz..why why why everytime like this?

So we had the official talks and introduction and presentation of certs to the IN CROWD 07 which is US! Honestly I felt so enthusiastic and HIGH all day. Kept contributing to the noise. Haha. Then..makan time..and you know what happens during Makan Time...

Attempt #190 to persuade Liyana to eat unhealthy fattening foods...which tastes good all the same. HAHAH!

Also, comparing of our life. Jessica, along with her twin bro, got 6 points and chose to go to CJC. She also chose to take h1 math! So did Joe En who got 8 points. YAY MAN. All of us are in pure ARTS and only Pam is in Science. HAHA...Pam...you take Science FOR WHAT!! H1 Math ROCKS! Especially since we take A maths already. WE people better get A for h1 math sia.

And then, since Erma brought her cam, I wanted to show the world the difference between MJC uniform and CJC uniform. oh bummer...they are in Yee Suan's camera. Ok, TONIGHT she'll send it to me.

Erma wants to go to CJC but I told her it's so far. Might as well go to MJC since the uniforms are almost the same. She lives in Punggol so MJ is obviously a better choice.

I followed one group of juniors for their Amazing Race- Nasri's group. What a determined little fellow he is. I think this year's IN Crowd has a lot of pretty faces. But so sad, all girls. HAHAH. At least Phyllis will make friends there too huh. No worries Phyllis. I really hope Erma can persuade her school to suscribe because one year in IN Crowd is NOT enough. Hahah. Two years in and I'm missing it. All the good and bad things that happended...everything meant a lot. We all learnt a lot from all of it. And we get a taste of real life in the office, how serious it is, how tough it is, how SCARYFYING it is. I hope IN Alumni will make it through and maybe, hopefully we can follow IN Crowd 08 to their overseas trip this year!

And I'm really really thankful that I've made such great friends, even though we are all sooo different. We all complement each other. I would never ask for any other people to replace my IN Crowders, my homies...and I'm definitely going to come for Child Aid 08. YAYz. And LRD trip. If I'm free. Imagine....when it comes to the 10th IN Crowd...we shall all be success stories. HEE...Then Peter will be so proud of us.

in which friends meet @ 9:47 am

YESTERDAY:
FIRSTly, the in crowd gathering. At Ramen Ten @ Century Square. THANK YOU to LIYANA YEO for making a 1 hour plus trip even tho I could only see you for 45 minutes! Haiz...this is what happens when you want to meet everyone on the same day so I guess you must prioritise. I ordered Salmon Ramen. Please anyone, do not ever order that. Stick to chicken! Jo En is a pro when it comes to Ramen. "To see if the ramen they make is nice, order the Char Siew Ramen" I did not manage to talk much political science with him. HAHA. Because of the rushing.

After that, I went to meet the 08s28 peeps! Aliff, Alfred, Gautami, Juvenus, Jasmine, Jocelyn, Christina, Tara, Mark, Syahidah and Lip Young. See! Was this successful? It depends on how you look at it.

We ate AGAIN AND AGAIN! We went to Billy Bombers to talk. Me and Syahidah ate Banana Split. Service Charge and GST makes it so expensive! Juvenus is a funny guy. Jasmine was really on the moon. Jocelyn is lame like WHAT. Syahidah was experimenting with the ice cream. She wanted to make POWERPUFF GIRLS so she took SUGAR, SPICE....and Jocelyn said "When you need everything nice, call me." ARGHHS. Haha.

Mark came just for a while to see us. He's really such a sweet boy. He told me that he had to couple dance with Jannah. HAHA. He asked Jannah if she knows me and she said "YES, how do you know her?" and Mark said "We are fake lovers back in TPJC" hehhex.

That night, online, I showed a picture of me and Mervyn to Mark because they both are in TPJC.

I told Mervyn this because he was online too and he asked to see the picture I gave to Mark. Mervyn looks very very tan. Almost the same skin colour as me. HAHA.

After that, the boys left. Tara had stomped off earlier. The girls went to the Exclusively HERS restroom. It really IS a restroom. GIRLS OUT THERE!: Just go to the washroom...Super PRETTY!

Then the girls left home and I accompanied Syahidah to eat because all the places we went to weren't halal so we went to Food Culture. I talked and talked to Syahidah who just rebonded her hair. She asked me this question "How did you get so close to Daryl?" I couldn't answer her because I really am unsure.

I felt so productive on this day because I managed to do all the chores and GO OUT! Whee...
