right ok. let me see. there's a lot to say..ahha.

1. GUITAR PRACTICES...& PW MEETING

Guitar practices were at Wesley's house. Mon, Tue and Thursday of LAST WEEK, 1st Week of June hols. HAHA..hrm...his dog and all...ahha the aircon, the laptops..THE KING SHOWING OFF...ahah and all his classical guitar pieces. MY AIM: By the end of GEM 08, he will know MORE CURRENT SONGS. AHHAH.

We practiced La Bamba & Can't Help Falling In Love With You. This is one of our practice sessions.

Oh plus, after practice on Thursday, 29th May while we were on the way to ikea, around 12pm? Wesley wanted to tie his shoelaces and my shoelaces were very irritating I asked Wesley to tie them for me cos with my Guitar and teh tarik in one hand and all, it's just so troublesome to bend down. HAHA and he did it! I was kinda shocked. HAHA. Joanna tried to take a pic of it but was too SLOW.

Then we ate at IKEA restaurant... I was saying it was foodcourt but they all scolded me saying it was a RESTAURANT..howells it looks like a foodcourt anyhoos. i spent total of $5 on F&B and Joanna spent double the amt. HAHA. I'm so smart I ordered Kids Meal of Nasi Padang + extra plate of rice. HAHHA..tho I had to force myself to finish, cos I got bored of eating half way. I think I took like HALF AN HOUR to finish eating....

Then we started on the door gifts. Sim Yee made it quite nicely and the boys bought the jars. Quite cheap i must say. Each door gift costs less than $1.50 and each had a Gibson pick inside which made Chee Ching so excited hahha. Then on with the planning of the night item..the candles, my kind of idea. haha in the end, we bought 100 white tealights which costs $3.90 and 84 red tealights which costs $11.80. HAIZ. Which reminds me, I've yet to collect this money from CRYSTAL> YAYAYAY. ahha. OH when we were doing the stars out of straws, so many aunties came by to ask us WHAT we were doing and HOW we were doing it. AHHHAAH...i think we made a home in Ikea. Bought so many stuff. Wesley went home early and he threw all the boxes which were supporting the jars. After he left and I looked at the rubbish bin, I found the cardboards to be quite clean so just picked them out of the rubbish bin lor. HEE ME. But i helped save a lot of trouble for us. so yes, must be more green no? (:

Sean said he was coming at 4pm with his TPJC shooting peeps. Imagine how much time we guitar ppl spent there.. I thought I wouldnt meet him but in the end we like camped there to finish our stuff so HAHA saw him. no actually i dint. It was more like this. While doing the door gifts I got an sms "Found you....haha!" ahha...yeah it gave me a shock cos I was like...thinking I would see him coming. So my reflexes found me turning behind then saw this guy grinning away. HAH! but din't go up to him say hello cos he was taking food and Sean, next time just come up to me say HI LOR...what for waste sms! hahha TSK! And I saw that guy who attempted to teach me how to shoot with Air Rifle during TPJC 2nd intake CCA fair which me and Xtina crashed xD. At least I hit the target card but so many times the rifle couldnt shoot and he was cursing away saying that he wasnt a pro in rifle cos he was under pistol. hahah...and i shifted my feet or something when I swear I didnt and he was quite irritated with me I think. HAha i was scared I pissed him off....scary ok..what if he just took a pistol and shot at me or stg WAHWHA...rubber or wtv those bullets are it would still hurt right? AHAHHA ><

King and a WOULD BE bday present...except we had NO MOOLAH.

My favourite Ice Cream Stick has been made into TUB FORM!!!! WHOPEEE!

So we bought a small round cheesecake for... $3.90! and we went to Giant foodcourt and we very resourceful girls made it our table the most happening table in the foodcourt. Sim Yee asked for the necessary stuff you need to cut the cake but the stall she asked from didn't have those small plates SO get this, the manager of the foodcourt came out and gave her a knife, forks and spoons and plates! King really has special treatment! I took one candle and asked a stall to light it with their lighter and I had to protect the flame on the way back to the stall. HAHAHA. So we sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY loudly and obviously we got attention. HEE...Isn't King sooo extremely dee duper lucky to have us 4?

2. Manifestasi '08 @ TPJC, Friday 30th May 2008

Me and Sadelena wanted to surprise Fadilah. I came up with so many ideas but they all came to a retardation when Sadelena had a last minute meeting with her Floorball Ex-Co. CONGRATS SADE FOR MAKING IT! Still, Sade baked instant brownie...Heehee..and came to my house earlier to eat and prepare the huge card for Fadi. Sade even made a card for SHAH! The lead actor. WOOTS.

Sean had a meeting in school but had to leave cos he wanted to sleeeeep. So couldnt see him. Haha..If not ah I would see him thrice in a row. ahahah.

Fadi was really surprised. YAY! YAY! YAY! And we came early too cos the doors havn't opened yet. Ok let me see... saw so many people lah very malas write everyone here. haha..i was just really happy to see all the PAE people. The MJC MJI peeps also came: Neni, Fazari, Nizam, Azrul, Salihin, Khairiah. And like one whole gang of TKGS peeps: Shila, Nana, Jannah, Nadirah and semua yang sewaktu dengan mereka. HEH.

Fadi loves what Sade did! Sade rocks rocks rocks!

My ticket was with Ahmad and he came late cos he wanted to solat Maghrib (am quite proud of him wahha). So Sade and Fadi chopped us seats first. Maisarah and Lyana waited with me for Ahmad. They were so sweet I was really very touched. The worst part was in the end, Sade din't save seats for them so they had to sit with the MJIs. I'm so sorry. While Haziq and Amira sat with us and Haziq changed place cos he wanted to seat beside Hafez. Who was sitting beside Fadilah. Grr so I was taken away from the centre of the Audi and from my friends. Haiz nvm. ahah Made the best of what I have. Ahmad one side and Amira on the other. HAHA.

Opening act: Sinar Kencana! Anyways when I was in PAE, I joined them for one practice, playing the violin. And everyone's really good now!

This must be one of the most hilarious parts of the show! The British colonial soldiers speaking Malay in an English accent. I couldn't stop laughing!

Zahidah as Nenek Kebayan. She was extremely superb in this role. I was really impressed but she made me unable to stop laughing. I was holding on to Amira's hand all the way. ahahahha..uncontrollably shaking with laughter.

3. TPJC Guitar/Band Concert '08, Saturday 31st May 2008

Cik Azah & Ayah War picked me up. Naif was going too. Then we picked Cik Yan up. We were like, just on time and we went to the Circle Seats which was upstairs. The view was ok. I finally saw Najihah conducting and I spotted lemme see, De Chong, Hassan, DARYL!, ALIYA!, WAI KHANG! haha... Najihah sat in the front and centre. So proud of her and she really looked very pretty and all. And some people were talking about my cousin behind my back something like "I didn't know Najihah was actually pretty" and the other person said "She's not really that pretty what." Gosh I felt like turning around and saying HEY THAT's MY COUSIN you're talking about.

I loved the last guitar song composed by Mr Terence Choo. Hao Jun really rocked that box he was tapping away with. Band's last song was very entertaining too. 'Sway With Me' and the percussion section danced away. There was this guy, I think he's so talented, he played the drums and then the piano and all sorts of percussion. haha...I think if I was in band I'll join percussion because they were running around here and there and dancing away. ahah so fun! And most of them were j1! This surprises me a lot.

So after, I saw a lot of my MJ GEM seniors and they were surprised to see me in my tudung. haha they said I looked different. (: ok yes i know.

Then met Najihah and Wai Khang ( he can recognise me whoa!) and called Daryl to ask him to come out faster. haha. While talking to Daryl, Sean came out and called him over and hurry hurry ask him take picture with me. HAHAH. I think it was kind of like deer caught in headlights. Like blur blur like tt. Hee...but I couldn't stay and chat lah cos my aunt was waiting and everyone was hungry.

THANK YOU AYAH WAR AND CIK AZAH FOR BLANJA-ING ME ALL THIS. The tickets and the late dinner. I wanted so much to go to Amirah's Grill. YAY so happy! haha. I ordered Norwegian Salmon. Yummy. And their Homemade Ice Cream rocks too. Everything about Amirah's Grill is SHIOK!

4. Sneakers Netball Carnival @ MGS, Sunday 1 June 2008.

I was playing with Sneakers team and had to borrow the blue Sneakers jersey from Mu. Woke up at 5.45 am and waited for Mu's dad at the Gongshang stop. Got lost on the way to Methodist Girls'. Got to know my team mates for the day. Maple, Louisa...oh noo forgot their names. Plus Rebeccah formerly frm St Margs and Charis from CEDAR! woots. Honestly dinnoe why Wei Li put me in that team because I'm lousy....ok maybe not so lousy but due to being so out of practice, I felt so sluggish and not really flexible therefore wasn't in the best physical state to be a passable defender. I think it was only because of the others' efforts that I managed to pass the first round while the Cedar teams all got kicked out cos they were playing for fun. Only the C div managed to pass first round. Haiz...plus, Rebecca and Maple were quite driven too unlike back in my sec sch days where carnivals were just slack and play around times...which sometimes got me frustrated...Rebecca and Maple gave me a new perspective and I think it works. Oh I remember another St Margs girl, Naomi! Since sec sch Cedar always played against them now I was in the same team. Haha...very different experience.

Also, we had one team member down cos she sprained her ankle. Really poor thing because she had to stay the whole time with us. So touched! Plus she had to pay carnival fees too. But at least we got the Sneakers Post-it's. Still, I don't think the carnival fees were worth it. It's quite EX!

I played Goal Defence first then I played Wing Defence all the way. I realised that I'm actually either afraid to attack for a ball or just forgot how to. We won all matches in the first round with a draw with Cedar Sec 4 team. Then in the 2nd round, we won 2 lost 2 so we were out. Won Pioneer JC which I'm quite surprised with cos they were quite agressive. But we lost horribly to St Margs B div and RGS B div. HEE...excuse us lah. THey train more than us and they have more team cohesion than us okay. It was a wonder we managed to pass first round me thinks. Anyways it was my first time passing the first round so YAY! to me.

oh btw, our team name was Sneakers Lightning! (:

3. GUITAR BBQ, Monday 2nd June 2008

Woke up early. SLs spposed to meet at 9am to meet Chee Ching. But I had to do some chores at home first so I was late. There was ex-co meeting at 10 also in the guitar room so I wasn't that late for that in the end. Plus, Chee Ching forgot what he wanted to give us and he played around with the guitar and eavesdropped on our meeting heh heh. Even though he was trying not to listen but seriously how can u stop urself from listening! haha... So he heard about the CIP I was organising and wanted to perform in it.

Then we went to White Sands foodcourt to eat and I tapau-ed from Burger King (: YAY BK!

* i interrupt to say that I just loooorve how my hair smells now heeee *

The boys bought drinks. The girls bought cake for June babies. Sim Yee and Zhen Xiang went back to school for PW meeting and didn't join us for lunch. Still got time ah they all...ahah. I waited with all their luggage on the steps of Pasir Ris MRT. Wahaha....

We owned one carriage full, well almost, but what with our bags and guitars and coolers. ahha

Then met the rest of the members at Bedok MRT at 1pm PLUS PLUS. ahhaha...poor Rachel waited for us at 197's stop for 45 mins and i don't know how long I was waiting at the station too. I was very tired and wanted to sleep...and the excitement hadn't even begun!

We played volleyball, went off to take pretty pictures. I was hungry most of the time because, I think when you're out on the beach you just tend to get hungry and thirsty a lot so next time, BRING LOTS OF PLAIN WATER. Also, I think I got more burnt from the sun. Haiz. I need to get new sunblock since I can't find any already.

This I call, THE SHENNA POSE!!!! Hee...

Then since we are guitar people, we took the guitar out and saaang. The people passing by all looked at us. I do believe some of them stopped and stared to listen to this mini-concert. WAHHAH. Or it may just be my over-active imagination. xD

I hope I get to be what I deserve to be in Guitar Ex-co too.

On Thursday, as I was going home and crossing TPJ bridge, I saw Ms Fernandez. Or rather, she saw me. I smiled at her. She smiled at me. I was wearing my red specs, which Wee Shiun had trouble recognising me in at one point of time, and this Lit teacher said "Safiah! How are you? Are you having fun in MJ?" haha...I thought only students ask that to their friends...I didn't know that teachers take into account the fun factor too. Hmm...I was really shocked that a) she recognised me and b) she remembers my name! WOW! I think me always answering her questions and my participation in class must have left an impact on her...as self-appraising as that sounds. But now, reminiscing, Lit tutorials, and even lectures, were so much more fun back then. I think it's across the whole country. PAE was definitely fun-ner.

At night, h2 lit students went to Raffles Hotel Jubilee Hall to catch Hamlet. I went with Fazari, Nadirah and Shafiq. Met the other MJC-ians at the basement of Raffles Mall. We ate donuts..haha FUN! and soo...YUMMY! Anyhoos Hamlet is my first ever Shakespeare play. I didn't know what to expect really. But it was actually fun and interesting, despite it being very Shakespeare where plots and twists happen and some go mad and everyone dies. Kind of reminds me of Indonesian sinetrons like Hikmah. HAHA...Actually I think Hikmah is influenced by Shakespeare cos it's all VERY VERY DRAMA..but the actors were really good, especially Hamlet. He was very natural. He didn't make me think that he was acting. I think good actors...BE and not just ACT. I shall further elaborate on the similarities between Shakespeare and Hikmah. Both have cruel acts. Both are very drama. Shakespeare is VERY influential.

I wish Christina and Muhaina took h2 lit. Sheesh lah this JC doesn't allow them that combi. Oh and I spotted Krystal, Kikin and Jacqueline. Very unexpected...

And now, only 2 people are going for the cambridge programme for Lit. If everything goes well, I'll be going with Joan who has the same birthday as me. HOW COOL. I found out from Heidi that in CJ there are like 200 appicants or isit...20. But still, a whole lot more than MJ's 6. I feel kinda under-qualified for this programme. Like what if I don't represent MJ well enough and all the CJ ppl happen to be super damn powderful in drama and lit and they spurt out cheemanology..HEIDI...PLEASE PLEASE don't just be in reserve list. I wanna see you there so u can french braid my hair! hee..

I felt so sick on Friday... I wanted to finish my work so I went to the library. Met Christina's class and went into the discussion/movie room with them. They put GREASE on, as in the movie ,while my nose was running and I was doing Maths. Ha-ha... GREASE LIGHNING!, Hopelessly Devoted To You...me and Christina should so do a musical. Heee...

* my baby brother is trying to climb on to me to reach the keyboard. He is extreeeemely fascinated with the keyboard. No? Maybe the fascination's with me. CUTE. Tho he is growing too fast for me to keep up...such is life in the present state...unable to keep up with anything ( news, hobby, family, my room, friends). The holidays are very much longed for...*

Then..after Functions Lecture, ate and drank hot teh-O. Then felt better. Then, I drank cold water from my water bottle and the sneezing explosion started again...sooo bought another cup of hot tea. Went to the study room and saw Siti who looked WORSE than me...and she had house comm interview in half an hour. She stubbornly refused to drink hot tea even though I offered to buy for her a cup.

I just tagged with Rika and Hirma. Met them in the library. Gave up doing PI cos of the drowsiness that consumes you when you're having runny nose. So I just sat with them and did Econs notes. Felt more productive like that.

I was all on time and everything but Joanna made me late for Guitar cos of miscommunication. AND the group I was walking with walked quite slow. You see, I am still enthusiastic for Guitar. Hee...

We were separated into groups and I was in Guitar 3. So our seating is temporarily permanent. Sheena, King, Wesley, JY, Vanessa and ooh..did I miss anyone. HAHA....these will be the faces I see around me every week. And again, many thought that I was a Chinese...hmm...no comments. HAHA.

Almost the whole j1 ensemble took the form for EXCO sign-up...Haiz.. while SOME people are stepping down and handing over, I'm just about to start... not even confirmed if I'll get it but I'll try my best cos I really want it...haha. Reminds me of Media Club Exco Elections last 2 years..

* i interrupt you to bring you this announcement: MY BROTHER HAS JUST LEARNT TO STAND ON HIS OWN!!!! ohhhh woweee!*

I think the two pieces that we played as an ensemble were not bad. The timings were still a bit...here and there...but overall YAY! we managed to produce beautiful music. It's really nice lah..guitar. HAHA! And then we watched the j2s play, a preview of their part for the TJ guitar concert, which I'm not going for. I can't wait to be in their position..HAHA...am i siao siao? (:..After that Darren asked if there were any feedback and I was saying something so Zhen Yan announced to the whole room "Saf has something to say" Haha...err..ok. I feel very amused when Zhen Yan calls me "Saf" haha.

I was complaining so much on how I was hungry... I really had pangs for Tuna Puff from TPJ Cafe. And one point of time I wanted to eat Old Chang Kee's curry chicken in that bun bowl. I was really really hungry...soo I sms-ed Sean. And he said he was still in school so I can come down and buy. BUT guitar practice ends at 6 plus so I told him what if Tuna Puff runs out, some more it's on a Friday. Then he said he'll buy it first. Hee...YAY! My craving was taken care of. I saw Felina while waiting at the side gate. Sean describes Felina as having the face of one who is electrocuted when she saw me. It's nice to shock people...hmm...he should see Zahida's face...all this drama and TSD people. HAHA. So Sean THANKS. Do I have to make it up to you...haha. It'll all be different when you go for NS next year...Hmm..hahha!

I still feel so young. Like not to the stage where I see friends going off for NS. Let's review this again next year.

2. We all TRY to get a bite. Fazari wants to snatch. Jannah says "OI!" Siti wants to hit Jannah with a ....shoebag?! Shafienas says....let's drink this drink instead!

3. At the end of the day, the nice one gets a feeding from the birthday girl while the naughty Fazari sulks at one corner...

3. Colloseum on Friday

Before that, I had one period of H1 maths. And am so happy that I got one of the highest in class. 16/25. I know I could have scored better. I mean I took A Math already right? SO...haiz.. ok ok. A lot of careless mistakes. And...now I must maintain this. But everyone should know that this is the FIRST time in history that Safiah scores one of the highest for Maths. I've always been failing Additional Maths during upper sec. Hee hee...Can't help but be happy and telling everyone! haha...

Got ready with Christina. We were so pissed at the fact that we were treated like prisoners. ARGGS. So she asked her dad to send her her stuff. So pissing offing. Haiz..Phobos plus Callisto!

TOTEM POLE!

Gladiators ball: There was supposed to be heats but it kept postponing due to the rain so J1 and J2 were combined. I was the only J1 in the Gladiator's Ball team cos Shafienas backed out. What a shock I got when I was introduced to the team by Zaki. Arghs. felt so alone being the only J1 but I just tried my best talking to the 3 other J2s. It's something like Captain's ball...and we played on the synthetic football field..I have never had so many people watching me play before, 2 WHOLE HOUSES...a bit...no VERY pressurising. Some more playing with all the basketballers and footballers in my house, they were very competitive...and I had no confidence that the boys would pass to me so I just did my very best defending...and I think it pressured the opponents. But I got tired out easily. Stamina is so low. I was so nervous I'd make a mistake..therefore I did make mistakes when catching the ball. I havn't played for so long so I'm really sorry. But still...I was scared of playing against Callisto cos the girls were all netballers. But we beat them in end. We won all the houses except Triton and I do not know what our end position was. 2nd isit?

I left at the prize-giving ceremony with permission from Zaki and Shafiqah to go to Songfest. Hoon, Christina and me plus Germaine cabbed there so we'd make it on time with good seats. We were trying to pass by that Mister. And we were so scared that we'll get caught or what because the whole school was still at the track for prize-giving. Christina a;ready asked her friend to save us seats. Husna and Haziq came later. Sakinah and Hani, Pamela, and Syazwan were waiting for me at the Audi benches for me to pass them their tickets. When I came, the first three were together and I realised they were classmates and they realised that they were all waiting for the same girl to give her tickets. SO FUNNY! And Syazwan, very baik, go and tell me that his friend had extra ticket so he didn't need my ticket. So I had one extra ticket in the end. Which was sad because I knew 2 peeps who wanted to go but had no tix.

3. Songfest at TPJC '08

I saw Jonathan at the bus stop in the morning and he asked me if I was going...OF COURSE LAH! haha...I totally forgot that he would, of course, be competing...in the FINALS.

Man Khai, u don't know what u missed. HAHA... It so totally rocked and the SC who organised it managed everything very well. THANK YOU SEAN for all the tickets...12 in total. HAHAH.

I still like 'The One I Love' more than the song that Daryl sang that night. But it was cool. Hahah..I think I lost 1/4 of my voice from screaming.

Sean's video was nice! The songfest posters were nice! Good job lah to all the peeps! Everyone dressed really fantabulously!

Daryl got First Runner UP!!!! And a lot of vouchers! Shopping mall vouchers and HMV vouchers...HRMPH...

Ding Jie, me and Christina gave Daryl a bunch of flowers...that does not qualify for a bouquet. Hahah! Met Mr Adrian Tan again!!! HE ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS! hahha...

and Atiqah Lokman, Sarah, Ali, Banu, Nadiah, Amirah, Siti Safiyah, Hisyam...the whole PAE class of 08S27...and also...Shermaine, Cheryl (PE CLASS), HAMAIZAH!!! again... aka Hammy. I still feel so happy when I see her. Haiz...Amira Razali, JOCELYN!, Kailin (so sorry I brushed you aside, I was looking for my handphone)

Then, Daryl,Pei Rong, Boo, Jackson, Ding Jie, me and Christina went to CC Macs to fill our rumbling tummies. We met Syahidah outside and she wanted to join us. I think half of the people at the extension room at Macs were people from TPJC and some I know by face, some I know personally...haha...this is the 2nd time I lepak there. HEE HEE...so nice lah..

I took many many more photos but they're all with Syahidah, Hamaizah, Ding Jie (ok he just gave me his share), Christina..and one is with Atiqah. HAHA... LOVE THE DAY and NIGHT...

HAHA...when the curtain opened i was already impressed. Because it was different..and there were fairy lights strung..HAHA NICE. hahah...then I saw it was Jonathan singing...EVEN MORE impressed. haha aiyahh... Jonathan...everything you can do...guitar.drums. SING...

The co-ordination was fantastic and the feeling was natural...haha

ok I am no judge...so just ENJOY...
